Navigating Grief Through The Holidays

FREE Online Group session

November 8th @ 11am PST via Zoom

The holidays are a part of the year that many experience the feelings of grief. If you are experiencing grief during the holidays, know that you are not alone.

Often we don't want to "spoil" the cheer with our painful feelings; We tend to seclude ourselves from others and are left alone. Although this is not a bad thing, having coping tools to support yourself - whether alone or in social settings - can help you get through the storms of grief during the holidays.

What we will cover in group talk therapy:

  • 5 Stages of Grief

  • Unapologetic self care practices to implement around friends and family

  • Removing the guilt of “spoiling” Holiday Cheer

  • At home practices to sooth your grief

Join us for our free group talk therapy to safely express your emotions, thoughts and feel supported by the grieving community.

Do’s & Don’t of Grieving

- don't isolate from others; stay connected

- talk it out, share your feelings with others who care about you

- don't pretend your feelings don't matter, allow yourself space to acknowledge your loss

- don't turn to unhealthy self-soothing behaviors such as alcohol, overeating, or other risky behavior; instead seek professional help from a therapist
